Maybe the Porsche Cayman GT4 has its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, but a prototype of the car was caught at night hitting the German autobahn.

What is really interesting that the Porsche Cayman GT4 has an American style number license plate and the sidemarkers were showing that it is a United States spec model.

As the end of the video approaches, the Cayman driver does manage to quickly accelerate away from the vehicle filming and that gives us perfect chance to hear the engine that is borrowed from the Porsche 911 Carrera S.

In case you don’t know, the mid-mounted 3.8 liter flat-six now delivers 385 HP. 0-100 km/h or 60 MPH is possible in just 4.4 seconds and a 183 MPH or 295 km/h top speed is achievable. The Cayman GT4, as with all Porsche models is also at home on the Nurburgring and it has recorded a 7 minutes and 40 seconds time.

Besides the upgraded engine, the Porsche Cayman GT4 also has a large fixed rear wing, a new rear diffuser and a reworked front fascia. With the increased performance and the new look, the Cayman GT4 becomes a very astonishing proposition.
