Only 85,680 cars were produced. Especially for the NASCAR there were two Dodge models built: Charger Daytona and Charger 500.

Furthermore, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T called The General Lee was staring in The Dukes Of Hazzard which was running between 1979 and 1985. The name and 01 were painted on all doors, while windows were left open. The horn sounds like “Dixie’s Land”. The Dodge got famous while performing incredible jumps and hundreds of 1969 Charger were produced for the purposes of the filming only because one car was completely destroyed at the end of each episode. After six sequels the producers started using miniatures instead of real cars for jump scenes.
